This dual-action formula works systemically, getting absorbed through leaves and roots, and effectively inhibits weed growth by blocking essential enzyme activity (ALS inhibitor). FATAFAT ensures fast action, long-lasting control, and improved crop yield by minimizing weed competition.

Ideal for modern wheat farming, it offers low-dose, high-efficiency weed management with excellent crop safety when used as recommended.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual-action herbicide for broad-spectrum weed control
  • Effective against Phalaris minor, Chenopodium, Melilotus, and other weeds
  • Systemic action ensures complete weed kill
  • Low dosage requirement for cost-effective use
  • Promotes better crop growth and higher yield
  • Easy-to-use water-dispersible granules (WG) formulation

Recommended Crops

  • Wheat

Target Weeds

  • Grassy weeds: Phalaris minor
  • Broadleaf weeds: Chenopodium album, Melilotus spp., Anagallis arvensis, etc.

Dosage & Application

  • Dosage: 32 grams per acre
  • Water Volume: 120–150 liters per acre
  • Application Time: 25–35 days after sowing (early post-emergence stage)
  • Method: Uniform foliar spray using a flat-fan nozzle

Mode of Action

FATAFAT inhibits the Acetolactate Synthase (ALS) enzyme, stopping amino acid synthesis in weeds, leading to growth cessation and eventual death.

Precautions

  • Apply on actively growing weeds for best results
  • Avoid spraying during windy conditions
  • Do not mix with incompatible chemicals
  • Maintain proper soil moisture at application time
  • Use protective gear during handling and spraying
